Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit/debit card payment. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, every effort will be made to update this site regularly, however there may be some changes that are the result of manufacturers price fluctuations from time time. We will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

False Orders:All attempts to place false orders or attempts to deceive will be reported to the police.

POM-VPS (PML) Product Information: Sale of Animal Medicines: By ordering this item you confirm that you are the owner or keeper of livestock. We can only supply this product within the United Kingdom. In order for us to verify you are a livestock farmer, please supply us with your Holding Number and Flock Number. You may receive a telephone call so that we can confirm the order, please ensure that we have your contact details, a mobile telephone number is always helpful. We reserve the right not to supply any medicine at our own discretion. If you make a false statement to this effect this may lead to criminal prosecution and either a fine or imprisonment if convicted.

Liability: Information regarding the application and use of products supplied is available on request in accordance with Section 6 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. All goods are supplied on the condition that we cannot be held responsible if they are used for any other purpose than that specified by the manufacturer.

COSHH Sheets: These are available to cover various products supplied within the range and can be obtained on request. Purchasers must make application as necessary. Wessex will not undertake to issue COSHH Sheets automatically when a new product is supplied to a purchaser. The Purchaser is responsible to assess the risks and to satisfy himself fully as to the suitability of the product for the particular purpose intended.Any advice given is without legal responsibility and solely on the basis of information received. (See regulation 6 of C.O.S.H.H. Regulations 1994 and Regulation 3 of Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992).

If loss, damage or deterioration (other that death or personal injury) is caused by Wessex negligence, liability shall be limited to the invoice value of the goods.

Shipping And Handling No delivery cost will be applied to internet orders for wormers or orders over £85 within Mainland UK or I.O.W. passing more savings onto you

For orders below £85, our standard carriage charge of £7.50 will be applied at the checkout. On receipt of your order, carriage may be reduced if the cost of carriage is less and this will be reflected on your credit card.

For heavier items, customers may be charged a surcharge to the standard delivery price, but no payment will be taken until customers have approved the additional charge prior to delivery.

Delivery Schedule We endeavour to process all orders on the date of order receipt and delivery (other than pallets) will be on the next working day to all mainland destinations including the I.O.W. We aim to ensure that all items listed are in supply.

Deliveries are not liable for a signature upon arrival, please state any special delivery instructions on your order form, as goods will be left safe at Customers own risk. If a signature is required, please state this on your order form.

Back Orders If for any reason an item is out of stock, or we do not receive an item from the manufacturer in time to meet our delivery deadline, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the expected availability and delivery date of your order. If you do not wish to wait for the delivery you have the option to cancel your order for that item and your invoice will be credited in full.

Tax Charges All prices listed on our website exclude Tax. 17.5% VAT is added at the checkout unless an item is "Zero Rated". These items are tax free and you will only be charged VAT on your shipping cost, if your order falls below £85 excl.VAT.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

We are happy to offer monthly account facilites for customers buying in a sufficient volume on a regular basis. Our credit accounts are subject to the usual reference requirements and subject to our trading terms and conditions. All credit accounts are due for payment by the end of the month following delivery. We also reserve the right to charge interest at 2% per calendar month on all overdue accounts. Returns Policy Always keep your invoice or despatch note as this is your proof of our guarantee.

Items correctly supplied against a firm order may not be returned for credit without prior agreement in writing. Wessex reserves the right to make a percentage charge for restocking. Returned goods will not be accepted after a period of 28 days from date of invoice. When sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. You are also responsible for the postage of the return parcel. We recommend you use recorded delivery.

Damage or Loss: In the event of partial damage or loss, a claim on the carriers and Wessex must be made in writing within 3 days of delivery. Non-delivery must be notified to Wessex within 10 days of date of invoice.

If you return an item as a result of a mistake by Wessex Animal Health, or if an item is faulty, or which has been damaged in transit, the item must be returned to us in its original packaging and original condition. Genuine returned goods will be credited in full for the item and Wessex will arrange for uplift free of charge. Please contact 01425 474455 for further advice.

Should you prefer to return the parcel, please contact us on 01425 474455 in the first instance for agreement. We recommend you use recorded delivery, we will pay for the postage for the return parcel.

Remittance Terms All goods are to be paid in full prior to despatch, however regular purchases may be offered account facilities at our discretion.

Payment terms: Accounts are due for payment by the end of the month following delivery. We also reserve the right to charge interest at 2% per calendar month on all overdue accounts. Wessex reserve the right to claim all costs if it is necessary to recover outstanding debts through the Courts or otherwise, and interest on the outstanding balance at the rate of 2% per month from the date the debt becomes overdue. In addition, when a debt exceeds the stated terms, all debts outstanding which are owed to Wessex by the Purchaser, shall become due for payment.
